After-School Programs
Looking for something different to do after school?
Our after-school program gives you the chance to work hands-on with a real dog while learning skills that go way beyond training. You’ll build confidence, learn how to communicate clearly, step into leadership, and understand how to care for an animal, all in a supportive, fun environment.
Using our Training Method*, you’ll figure things out through real-life problem solving (not just being told what to do), helping you grow both as a dog handler and as a person. You’ll also learn how to manage emotions, stay calm under pressure, and trust your instincts.
Bonus: your time in the program can count toward your 40 community service hours requirement.
Our next youth program is happening in South Etobicoke starting September 2026. Applications for youth and pet dogs open late May 2026.
*Training Method developed by Jane Boake, based on Dr. Bonnie Bergin’s teachings at the Bergin University of Canine Studies, and successfully implemented at Nantyr Shores Secondary School for 18+ years.
Discover Your Confidence After Class
